Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic clinical doctor with a specialist interest in metabolic syndromes, such as type 2 diabetes and obesity to join our growing clinical team.
This is a unique opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary group of national and international leaders in the field of obesity, diabetes, renal disease, dietetics and psychology.
You will be joining us as we continue scaling across the UK, with significant personal and professional development opportunities, including research and publication under the supervision of leading London Teaching Hospital consultants.

The Reset Programme is delivered through a dedicated digital platform, fully assisted with AI decision algorithms, as well as physical clinics located at accessible locations, with regular face-to-face or video access to clinical staff.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
To provide high quality care to members, demonstrating strong results in the efficiency and efficacy of the Reset Programme
To lead and run the clinic, with the support of the nursing and administrative team. This involves medically assessing members attending the Clinic with history taking, clinical examination, ordering relevant investigations, and providing counselling and explanation of the Reset Programme
To complete all necessary documentations and records for all members
To supervise nursing staff and to be involved in multi-professional education in diabetes and obesity care
To attend weekly Multidisciplinary Team Meetings
To actively participate in the development and implementation of clinical protocols and guidelines for members with diabetes and obesity
To undertake clinical audits and governance programmes, as well as clinical research
To contribute to the facilitation of the planning, delivery and evaluation of care pathways for members of Reset Health
To work autonomously and take responsibility for their own caseload of Reset members
To work collaboratively alongside a multidisciplinary team
To take responsibility for self-development on a continual basis, undertaking on-the-job and other training as required, actively seek and participate in peer review of their own practice
To develop specialist knowledge in diabetes and complications associated with metabolic disease in order to assess, develop, and implement specialist nursing care programmes for patients with diabetes, under the supervision of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO)
Skills & Experience
MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
At least 2 years full time postgraduate training, with evidence of achievement of Foundation competences from a UKFPO affiliated Foundation Programme or equivalent
Eligible for full registration with the GMC at time of appointment
Hold a current licence to practice
Experience in Endocrinology, including diabetes (desirable)
MRCP (UK) full certification or equivalent (desirable)
Eligible to work in the UK
Schedule
40 Hours a week, 08:30 am to 17:30 pm with 60 min lunchtime break, Monday to Friday
Permanent: Full time / Part time
Flexible hours can be discussed
Weekend working may be required
